dc.description.abstractUTI infection is A condition in which bacteria invade and grow in the urinary tract . The purpose of this current study is to examine Asymptomatic bacteriuria among students at Libyan International Medical University. Asymptomatic bacteriuria defined as significant bacterial count in the urine. The participants of this research are 24 students. Urine samples were collected from males and females. The samples were cultured on CLED agar.. Prevalence of significant asymptomatic bacteriuria was higher in females than males and There were statistically significant different in asymptomatic bacteriuria with gender (X2 , P=0.004) . The organisms isolated were E. coli wish is the most common costive in asymptomatic bacteriuria .en_US
