In 6 male and 6 female normal volunteers, we measured the diuretic response of oral furosemide. Every patient was given a single dose of furosemide. Over the next 6 hours, total urine production was collected for volume measurement, mean of urine output in male (468.0) more than in female (367.2), urine output amount (P=0.142) with respect to urine flow rate, among the treatments. there were no statistical significant different between gender. | en_US |
