dc.description.abstractCracked tooth is defined as a tooth having either craze or cracked lines or both. Dental tissue respond to stress and strains during mastication , the stress on these teeth may lead to the formation of microcracks in the enamel which can propagate to dentine and causing symptoms like pain when biting or with cold. Another risk behavior like tendency to eat hard food ,accidental trauma , bruxism and clenching. The purpose of this study is to investigate the prevalence of cracked tooth and associated behavioral factors in a group of patients at the faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.en_US
