On Saturday, October 31, 2020, a team-based learning session was held for third-year Pharmacy students. This session was held within the third week of the ninth block entitled “Infectious Diseases”. Team-based learning sessions include many activities that are carried out individually and collectively, including Case Application, individual assessments (iRAT) and team assessments (tRAT) that are carried out electronically in addition to student-expert discussion session regarding the scientific material of the week. It is worth noting that the Faculty of Pharmacy is the first and only Faculty in Libya whose students’ study within the PharmD program, which is an accredited program that grants a Bachelor's degree to pharmacists who are able to provide pharmaceutical care to the patient. The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Libyan International Medical University adopts modern curricula and teaching methods and student-centered learning strategies within an interactive education system where teaching takes place at the Faculty from the first year until graduation over a period of five years. Teaching takes place using problem-based learning, team-based learning and research-based learning strategies.
