As part of the orientation program for the academic year 2020-2021, the “Meet Your Supervisor” activity was held for fourth year students at the Faculty of Pharmacy on the 11th of October 2020. During this activity, each group consisting of three students met with their capstone project supervisor to discuss and develop plans for implementing the project. The capstone project at the Faculty of Pharmacy is one of the main requirements for graduation, and students begin their work on the project from the beginning of the fourth year. Moreover, the capstone project must be completed and submitted to discussion before the end of the fifth year. The capstone project is one of the important tributaries of research at the Faculty of Pharmacy, but it is not the only component in teaching students the basics of scientific research or conducting research. This is because the Faculty adopts research-based learning strategy in applying the fifth-year curricula. In addition, PharmD students study other subjects such as research methodology, scientific research, ethics, evidence-based medicine and literature evaluation.en_US
