Training Workshop for Faculty of Pharmacy Staff on the Teaching of Evidence-Based Medicine for Undergraduate Students which is Taught for the First Time in Libya <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> The intensive three-day training workshop on how to teach and supervise the implementation of the evidence-based medicine course has been completed for faculty members and tutors at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Evidence-based medicine course is taught to fourth year students in the PharmD program as one of the program requirements. It is worth mentioning that this is the first time that this course has been systematically taught to undergraduate students in Libya and in accordance with international standards. Also, the PharmD program, which is accredited by the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions, is the first PharmD program in Libya to graduate pharmacists capable of practicing the clinical aspects of the profession in addition to other skills of the pharmacist. The curriculum is integrated and follows problem-based and team-based learning strategies.
